Female Student of DELSU frames-up Self-Kidnap To Dupe Parents

One Miss Belynda Chinwe Bosa is presently in the custody of Delta State Police Command facing the consequences of her action.

Chinwe, a student of Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, was recently arrested for allegedly staging her kidnap so as to extort money from her parents.

It was gathered that Beatrice Bosa of Kwale, Delta State reported that last December, her daughter, Chinwe, residing in Lagos, who was travelling from Lagos to Abraka, was kidnapped along the way by unknown hoodlums.

She said that to her utmost surprise, her supposed loving daughter staged her own kidnap demanding a ransom of N500, 000.

Sequel to the report, operatives of Special Anti-Kidnapping Squad, Asaba, swung into action and arrested one Sunday Ogagawotu at Oyiobo, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, after withdrawing the money paid as ransom, which was paid into his Ecobank account in Port-Harcourt.

It was said that the girl’s boyfriend initiated the whole plot and all the parties involved in the kidnap have been apprehended.

The Police are still investigating the matter.

The Lagos Catholic corpers’ lodge has been robbed. According to Linda Ikeji, the Corpers lodge which is located at Akowonjo area of Lagos was robbed in the early hours of today, Thursday, 22nd January, 2015 at about 1.03am.
