RCCG G.O. says politicians are Truthful

Pastor Adeboye stated this on Friday, January 16, during a visit to Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, Osun State.





The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Enoch Adeboye has reportedly stated that he doesn’t trust politicians because they are liars.

Pastor Adeboye stated this on Friday, January 16, during a visit to Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, Osun State, Punch reports.

The respected cleric, who was at the institution for a two-day interdenominational prayer session, also added that politicians are not trustworthy because they don’t fulfill promises made.

“I don’t trust politicians; politicians are liars. They don’t fulfil most of their promises. A politician can tell you that they will give all of you (students) chicken each, which we all know it is impossible,”Adeboye said.

The Pastor also urged Nigerians to stop worrying about the outcome of the presidential elections saying that God the “master planner” had already planned the leadership development of Nigeria.

The Vice-Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Yemi Osinbajo is a pastor at the RCCG and is also said to be a close associate of Adeboye’s.

Lagos State Corpers' Lodge Robbed

The Lagos Catholic corpers’ lodge has been robbed. According to Linda Ikeji, the Corpers lodge which is located at Akowonjo area of Lagos was robbed in the early hours of today, Thursday, 22nd January, 2015 at about 1.03am.
