35-year-old Genevieve has spoken out on the reason for her single status and her expectations from marriage.


Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji is inarguably one of the most eligible spinsters in Nigeria and many have been left wondering why she hasn’t yet taken the big step of marriage.

According to Vanguard, she said in an interview:

"If I get married, I really want to stay married and staying married is not an easy thing. It means you are completely in tune with your partner.”

“It means you have found your soulmate because you will have to be able to stand a lot of disappointments that would definitely come but then again you have to learn to forgive,” she added.

Genevieve had earlier been romantically linked with musician,D’banj after they were spotted together and she featured in the video for his hit song “Fall in love”.
