Ali Baba's Janaury first concert was a huge success with performances from major Nigerian artiste and rib cracking jokes from top comedians













Veteran Comedian Ali Baba’s held an event on January 1st 2014 at Eko Hotel, Victoria Island Lagos. Fun lovers and celebrity friends all came out to witness the first major event of the year 2015.


In a one of its kind show, Comedians Bovi, AY, Omobaba, Yaw, McAbbey. Helen Paul, Okey Bakassi, Teju Babyfaceand 20 others joined the King of Comedy, Ali Baba in entertaining numerous guests who filled up the Eko Hotel venue for the maiden edition of the concert. Several artists like Waje, Yemi Alade, Dbanj, Omawunmi, Oritsefemi, Harrysong and many others also put in efforts in keeping the crowd on their feet with very exciting performances.


The hard working business men and Billionaires, Aliko Dangoteand Femi Otedola were also spotted at the event having a good laugh with their presence giving the event a new twist as various comedians made it a point of duty to pass a joke on them.

Shell appoints new board chairman

Shell appoints new board chairman The board of directors of Royal Dutch Shell on Thursday announced the appointment of Charles Holliday as its new chairman. A statement from the Group said Mr. Holliday’s appointment takes immediate effect from the conclusion of the 2015 Annual General Meeting. The company said however that the appointment was subject to his re-appointment as a Director of the Company by shareholders at the AGM. Mr. Holliday will succeed Jorma Ollila who is stepping down from the Board with effect from the conclusion of the 2015 AGM having served as Chairman for nine years. Mr. Holliday, who was appointed as a Non-executive Director of the Shell Group with effect from September 2010, is currently Chairman of the Corporate and Social Responsibility Committee and Member of the Remuneration Committee.
